Remember to stand! It seems as though my watch could not follow its own advice. When charging, the watch lay in a heap of cord on the ground, looking very messy and making it difficult to plug and unplug. To solve this problem, I designed and built a stand.
To get an idea of how big the stand would be, I took some measurements of the watch. Using these measurements, a prototype was made out of wood. This was necessary because of the watch’s irregular shape. The prototype made it easy to determine exactly how wide the base should be, which was then used to create a SketchUp model. Finally, the model was then printed on 3D printers.
The stand is a cylindrical cylinder cut off part way up. This shape allows for use from any direction. Inside, a channelhas been left hollow
